Hercules!

Ever wonder what life would be like through the eyes of your dog? I know for me, it’d be a totally different adventure!

Hercules, (featured in pic) absolutely loves the car.

Every car ride is a thrilling, new experience. In fact, on dog walks he has actually attempted to get in my fellow neighbor’s cars’ a few times as they’re arriving home from work because the excitement and anticipation is just too much for him! And these are people he doesn’t even know, lol! It doesn’t matter – it only matters that he gets to go in their car, at least he tries.

Today’s adventure was getting the oil changed…lol…and out to see family. Most of the car rides do involve visits to family so Hercules does remember where the car goes..to an extent…he still stays fresh and alert between the 2 front seats looking attentively out the windshield. Most of the time he lays down and rests but at every stop light he gets up, pacing around the car as if – the stop means possibly getting out.

I can only imagine the faces on the people behind us when they see a large St. Bernard, Hercules staring at them in the back window, smile.

Or in the parking lot!
Grocery car rides are most amusing; for arriving back to the car, Hercules has declared himself the Driver sitting in the driver’s seat! SMILE. Gotta remember don’t stay in the store too long – or happy dog drool on the steering wheel will also be waiting for you. Smile. Hercules always makes me smile, and also everyone else who sees him. Day 17 of 1,000 ways to smile is dedicated to Hercules, my adventurous canine.
