1,000 Smiles | Day 25 | Mothers | Calzone
Mothers. Day 25. Smile. What would we do without our Mothers? Recently we all celebrated Mothers Day in mid May. Was your Mothers Day special? It truly does not take much, mothers are the most long suffering individuals on the planet. All is only fine when their “nest” is perfectly supplied for – all pales in comparison to their children.
I think the most remarkable aspect about it – is Mothers usually don’t get appreciated for all they give until much later in life, as their children mature.
What would that be like? Giving ALL of yourself, tirelessly for your own who are blinded till they reach maturity? I have four very close Mothers in my life; though I am only one to 1 large dog and 2 cats. The first of course is my own, featured here. Today’s Mothers‘ Smile pic had to be shared because the calzone is bigger than she is, lol. I think that’s a good representation of a mothers love, don’t you? Or at least, what she deserves now & then.
Next is my “2nd” Mother, Inlaw, Debbie. I’ve been able to witness first hand of being loved concerning a family you marry into. 3rd, my dear friend Michelle – who is a Mother of 4; I get to see floods of updates via facebook of her love and devotion
And 4th, my dear friend Anita, a Mother of 3 who is watching her baby girl graduate High School tomorrow evening.
All 4 Mothers share a single common ground: they’d do anything for their children.
The best education, the best opportunities or even the best shoulder to cry on. Which will happen. Life will kick us all down and no one will be standing in the midst of the crumbles like Mothers’ do. Not only do they stand, Mothers protect you from all the shrapnel. Smile #25 of 1,000 Smiles goes to Mothers.
