Vacation. The name Vacation alone before you even leave town – brings a smile to your face.

Whatever your cares are, stress, work, anything – all disappear in a very small voice overpowered by VACATION.

An author informed me to be taking a vacation – any kind – at least every 90 days. It keeps your mind and spirit fresh, that’s a new goal for sure!

Vacation days feel longer – and they are for sure!

I do believe it is because your mind is in that “smell the roses” place. Beach vacations have to be at the top of the list for all time favorites. We were only gone a short time but the pictures easily fill a week’s worth of smiley posts Vacation spots we found included the Malibu area for a couple day, Laguna Beach in Orange County, California. The beaches – all of them are beautiful. However, Laguna Beach on a Sunday afternoon – is where everyone is!

Depending on your preference, keep it in mind! Many of the Malibu beaches were quiet, peaceful. Perfect weather – mid 70′s….ocean breeze….warm sun kissing your skin…plenty of people watching, shopping and ice cream. These pictures remind me of this famous painting: A Sunday on La Grande Jatte, by Georges Seurat, 1884.
