Employee | Self Employed | Small Business | Investor
Employee. Self Employed. Business Owner. Investor. Network Marketing.
You may be asking yourself as I was, what is the significance of these titles and “how does it play a role in my financial future?” The diagram here shows us exactly what we can expect from these careers.
In the world of business, these are the main 4 platforms. Let’s look at each of these much more closely.
Employee. You have a job. Most of us fall into this category, working for someone else. You don’t own this business or company and your wage is directly reflected by your time invested, or earned. 1:1 ratio.
Self Employed. You own a job. This model is one in which you are your own boss, and responsible for producing the product or service. It comes with some freedom, in that you may answer directly to your customers – but you are still tied to your business. 1:1 ratio.
Business Owner. You own a system with people working for you. This can be the start of your personal freedom, but oftentimes many business owners have a hard time with this model, depending upon how much they trust their employees to take the reigns, or if they can delegate responsibility. It’s not uncommon for small business owners to end up workaholics in their own establishment or take little vacation because of this very tie. That old saying: “If you want it done right, you have to do it yourself” echoes here – that’s the exact opposite way of thinking if you want a profitable business. You’re also looking at many expenses that come with business ownership.
Investor. This is where your business works for you. Investor comes with putting some money down, but here the business works for you, unlike our 3 above models – where you work for it.
Network marketing is one form of Investor;
the model’s strength lies in residual, passive income that keeps your hands free and out of your business, due to the fact that many hands are involved for it’s success. It’s duplicatable – priority #1 for any profitable business.
Now, that said,
let’s be real about the facts regarding network marketing and the potential to be earning a 7 figure annual salary in it.
You may know this, but if not, read carefully and take it to heart. There are only 3 ways to be earning that kind of income in network marketing, here they are:
1) First Mover’s Position.
Yep, when it’s brand new. The company has to be in it’s infancy – with only 30,000 distributors or less.
2) You introduce the network company into a country. Again, this is like the first mover’s position but oftentimes this takes place outside of the U.S.
3) You came from an existing organization and brought your people into a different network company.
