Improvement | Personal Development | Jim Rohn

improvementImprovement. Jim Rohn say’s it best.

The key to all good things and improvement is becoming more valuable.

What does that mean? In terms of wages, what we make is directly proportional to the value we bring to the marketplace, or, life. Philosophy, attitude, actions, results. In the past 6 years, how much money have you saved or invested? Nothing?

Who sold you on that plan? What happens when you’re 50? How many books have you read? None? With all the wisdom in the world that’s available – no books read? How many skills have you employed for improvement? How many classes have you taken for improvement? You know your answers, where the situation fits. See the pattern here?

Results. Make measurable progress in reasonable time is all life asks of us. Progress with improvement.

When we stop learning, we shut down our own value. We decide to stop that gauge. The truth sets us free; affirm the truth regarding improvement. Now what do we do about it? Accept the truth regarding your personal development and go to work, do the actions that will add more value to your skill set.

Short term goals and long term goals. Some results will need frequent checking while others are less. 1x/day, 1x/week, 1x/month. More value to the marketplace, realty, is the goal. Amend our errors, that’s all it is. Amend what is possible & pick up the disciplines to add to your value – what you bring to the table. You can change your circumstances by changing you. Change your disciplines, change your results. Note: If we’re out of our comfort zone, we’re in the right place for improvement.
