Motivation | Goal Setting | Work Motivation | Seasons

goal settingGoal Setting. Motivation. Career Goals. It’s easy to see the seasons of change in nature, the beauty and even hardship of it. Blossoming trees and even harvest vegetables make ways for winter storms….and in one perspective things may look pretty lifeless. And yet, plenty is happening beneath the surface we just don’t see. Now, what if we applied that analogy to our life and business when it comes to goal setting?

I’m not sure what it is about impatient human nature, that truly sets us up to fail in terms of success, recognition and goal setting. Some of us treat our personal and career goals as if they should always be in the harvest season…or blooming spring….why? Why should these stages of life be any different than in nature?

Once we accept change and embrace a winter of growth, in whatever it is we’re doing – then we can expect the fruits of that labor and motivation in the next seasons in terms of our goal setting.

One lesson that the art career has taught me – is patience in goal setting and success. There are no guarantees except – the only way to get better at it is to simply put in the mileage. It is entirely up to you, should you choose to grow and be led on the path.

This application has crossed over all boundaries of life; it’s a way to be optimistic with many of life’s ventures. Who say’s you can’t do what you wish to? Who say’s that idea won’t work? And as for all other successes around that may have you believing the world is against your efforts, & asking yourself: “Why me?“….I’m going to share with you what a dear friend has: add one simple word: “Why NOT Me?”

Add that to every one: Why not me, in terms of success, goal setting, recognition and the career of my dreams? Over 90% of the time, we hold ourselves back from motivation and calls to action for success. Understand the power to change all this lies with you, and you can always rise above your influences.
