Inspirational quotes.
I am reminded daily to dream big, this is ideal for you too, when it comes to your dreams and goal setting. Remember what your dreams were as a kid, whose inspirational quotes did you pull from? They weren’t silly. Sure, you may have more experience now and know more. However, I keep seeing people very able to pursue something they’d enjoy – but it would take some commitment. Real commitment. It’d require change.
Inspirational quotes and motivational stories are searched all day long on the internet; and yet we fail to apply these truths to our lives.
Do we not see them? Or do we see those inspirational quotes, and lives’ changed – and move ahead with our own in denial? Because moving ahead in denial feels like something, and yet it isn’t as uncomfortable as addressing the real reasons why we don’t pursue our passions. And, most of the time doing this, we keep the new found goal and objectives to ourselves…which also is a way of hiding. But that path will only lead to self sabotage; playing around with “kind of doing something toward your goals and objectives” while not actually doing it – lets us judge and label the experience and come back with: “See, that didn’t work. It never works.” And yet the experience to begin with wasn’t 100% truthful…not accurate…therefore it has no merit.
That path is the opposite direction of anything positive; the root of what all inspirational quotes come from.
And yet how many times do we do this to ourselves? How many years go by? How much regret is enough?
So, it all comes back today. Today is the day, regroup, dust off the goals – rewrite those inspirational messages! Be honest with yourself, share with a friend – and stay consistent. Take your inspirational quotes or outline you have from another, customize it for yourself and make an action plan. Actions over time fulfill confidence. Consistency breeds confidence. Allow yourself to succeed and these inspirational quotes won’t be something for just others, they’ll be for you.
