Seacret Direct | From Kiosks to Referral Marketing

Seacret. This story is a unique one. In the family of network marketers, everyone is loyal to the business model…you’d think they were born on the idea; they’re so loyal.

But the Owners/Founders of Seacret Direct were not in the market for it.

In fact, Seacret was dead set against the idea of Network Marketing.

Why? Because they had heard all the bad press about it as you and I at least 1, if not many times. Like many things, a few bad apples can ruin an entire reputation or business. But let’s take a look at the real passion Izhak (Founder) has for his company and his people in it.

Humble beginnings, Seacret Skincare was born on a kiosk idea, one at a time. Because it is hard work and 12 hour+ days, those working the kiosks were/are rewarded with the highest possible financial reward. After product costs and business expense, the commission structure is generous – because to the Founders, there’d be no success were if not for their people, making such sacrifices for the success and sales of the Seacret Skin product. About 600 families are responsible for it’s existence, since we all cannot go to the Dead Sea ourselves, and get the benefits.

The company has grown tremendously and the time came to be thinking about expansion, stores, for example. Enjoy this video below to Izhak’s reaction to the network marketing idea!

Yep, you guessed it. What sold Seacret over on the network marketing idea – fact is: building stores would mean more expense, advertising and celebrity endorsement to get traffic in the store – whereas the kiosk is sitting in traffic, with reps able to demonstrate the products. If the conversion went to stores, tons of expense would increase, along with product demonstration in front of people. The product is the star, the people are the marketing…both would suffer. Commission structures would decrease to absorb extra expenses – and that was not acceptable to the Owners…because the people and community are their pride, joy and community. The people are family, and extended family.
