Where Art met Business
Art. Business. Lo and behold – the crash course of Self Marketing 101 and Entrepreneurship painfully ensued after spending a decade learning how to oil paint! Launching a business in the Art World, professionally. Crazy, huh? Maybe. But dreams are worth it.
Making your dream a viable business is not easy, especially if you’re embarking on a new idea. All business takes equity, you learn about much invested before clearing in the black, & being profitable. If there’s no capital, then tons of sweat equity.
Hate to say it friends, but Art is a horrible business model. Let me rephrase that; anything you create where you are “tied” to your business…where none of it can be passed on to another…whether it be what you create or hiring help – you’ve sucked away your profits and freedom.
Don’t get me wrong – it can also be very profitable – when we employ the same principles that have made many people/businesses successful.
Let’s look at what many profitable businesses have in common: accessibility – product, customers, exposure. Here is our formula and it has to stay consistent.
1) Your service or your product.
2) A huge customer List.
3) Sales. Repeat Sales.
If you were doing the above as I was, here is where things shift. Your time and product are expensive to create – streamline it. Marketing is also expensive. Many of us truly don’t know how to market ourselves! We desire freedom and have great ideas…but unless we earned a marketing degree somewhere…”experimenting” is going to be costly. Going online is economical, even free. But there are strategies in making it profitable. Utilize an Affiliate product or several to earn a passive income stream.
How did I learn all this online stuff? Well I’m not a Geek, I had to learn how as well, lol! Here’s some insider steals from my mentors so you can be up and running today. Since it is the life blood of your online marketing, I recommend start with an economical offer that is very doable, and build from there-you can be crushing your business in days rather than years.
