Gluten Free. Non GMO. These buzz words are popping up all over, why?? I discovered over a year ago gluten was really bothering me. It took a very long time to determine, because gluten is in all foods with barely, wheat and rye and all those flours used to make breads, cereals, pasta, etc. It’s even found in odd foods like Gyro meat, believe it or not – as filler.
So the daunting task of eating gluten free and following a gluten free diet lifestyle plan was challenging, but not impossible.

And so, after a year had gone by of gluten free foods and I was just learning to ween myself off of foods I loved…breads, cakes…cause gluten free versions just aren’t the same! I then find out some of the problems surrounding gluten. Are you ready? Many issues people are now facing in recent years (the past 10-20) are not solely gluten; but rather the genetically modified hybrid form of gluten found in all popular foods as listed above. Any food that comes from wheat, barely, rye and the flours thereof in 90% of grocery products and restaurants, unfortunately, is in this category. The only exception is when the claim of using Non GMO products is visible. Here are some home-made recipes using King Arthur’s Non GMO flour:
Friends, we are living in a genetically modified age, buyer beware! Gluten Free, Non GMO. Hate to sound like a Conspirator but all this tampering pops up in crazy places down the road such as: Autoimmune diseases, Alzheimer’s, Cancers, etc. We just weren’t designed for all this, getting back to a diet full of plant based eating and foods in their purer forms is your best bet for optimum health, whether you are looking for gluten free foods or Non GMO, it’s possible here.
